Meet the Executive Director of McBright Africa

Mr. Sonny Mulenga served as Chief Operations Officer of Real Estate Investments Zambia Plc. He has over 17 years of varied experience locally in the property industry in Zambia and internationally having worked for major property firms notably in South Africa and the Middle East region based in Dubai. He previously worked for Africa’s leading property services company JHI Properties from their Johannesburg head office as well as Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) a NYSE listed global company specializing in real estate services based at their regional head office in Dubai.

During his employment his clients extended to multinational companies which included both listed and unlisted companies with assignments covering all types of properties which included retail shopping malls, offices, industrial, residential and hospitality property. Sonny’s experience extends to cover valuations, development appraisals, asset management, valuation finance and asset advisory and optimization strategies. He has a real estate honors degree from the University of Reading (UK) and is a professional member of various real estate organizations that include the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) UK, the South African Institute of Estate Agents Affairs Board (SA) among many others.
